Emergency Call Box Dedicated to Yadira Arroyo at The Spot Where She Was Killed

Bronx, New York, Sunday, March 17, 2019—Yadira Arroyo, 44, a mother of five who worked for FDNY EMT for fourteen years was killed by a mentally disable man using her ambulance two years ago. Yadira was working overtime to make ends meet at home when she died. 

Today, Community Board 9, FDNY, EMT, NYPD and Bronx elected officials joined the family, friends and colleagues to unveil an emergency call box named after her on the same spot where she was killed at Watson Avenue and White Plains Road in Bronx. 

Quoting frome speakers, she is physically gone but her legacy and the love New Yorkers whom she served well shall endure.
