Antiwar groups, Veterans, Peacemakers, Diplomats, Politicians, Educators, War Victims, and Interfaith leaders, Among Others, Shall be Converging at UN Plaza to Demand the Use of our National Resources to Build our Crumbling Infrastructure, Universal Healthcare, Schools, and Urban Communities, not Wasting it to Another Endless Wall Street Conflict.

Interfaith Jumu’ah Prayer in front of the United Nations on Friday, June 14, 2019, 1:00-3:00 PM to denounce the pending conflict with Iran. Time and time again, we’ve experienced proliferation of violent religious extremists emanating from the Muslim World after each conflict in Muslim Nations.  Sadly, the global unification against terrorism immediately post September 11 terrorist attacks quickly shattered when Iraq was attacked based on false pretense.  Consequently, the Iraq war has unnecessarily claimed hundreds of thousands of lives and trillions of dollars as well as morphed into a global conflict without an end in sight.

Without a doubt, another conflict with Iran poses a tremendous risks to innocent lives and preciously resources needed to build our crumbling infrastructure, universal healthcare and the present third world education rankings. There may be legitimate concerns with Iran and other nations, but fabricating justifications for endless ‘Arms Selling’ wars like Iraq’s is against the principles of great and civilized nations. Furthermore, contrary to warmongering lobbyists, attacking Iran doesn’t benefit America’s allies in the region in the long term.

Finally, during this historic gathering, our long awaited “New York Open Declaration” shall be officially unveiled. Attached, you’ll find a short media preview summery of this Declaration http://bronx.news12.com/story/40527137/bronxbased-group-calls-for-boycott-of-saudi-arabia-and-iran  We look forward for your comradery on this crucial humanitarian endeavor. Thank you!

  1. “What actions are most excellent? To gladden the heart of human beings, to feed the hungry, to help the afflicted, to lighten the sorrow of the sorrowful, and to remove the sufferings of the injured.”  Prophet Mohammad s.a.w,
  2. "Demolishing the Kaaba completely is much more preferred to Allah Almighty than shedding the blood of a Believer."
  3. “A companion of the Prophet (pbuh), 'Abdullah b. 'Umar (d. 74 AH/ 693 CE), once when he looked at the Ka'bah, reproduced the gist of those Prophet's words and said to the Ka'bah: "How great you are! And how great is your sanctity! But the sanctity of a believer is greater with Allah than even your sanctity.” (i.e., the Ka'bah)." (Sunan al-Tirmidhi)
