Man arrested after trying to rape a 83-year-old woman on Castle Hill Houses
Gary Mallette 51, of the Bronx, who was accused of throwing an 83 year old women to the ground and allegedly tried to rape her in the victim’s home in Castle Hill Houses, an NYCHA complex, whom allegedly hit her several times, threw her to the floor and tried to rip her clothing off after she let him in her apt saying he was there to fix something in her apt just before noon on Saturday a few months back was apprehended and arrested today at about 2:15 a.m. Mallettee mother lives in the same building as the 83-year-old victim. He has been charged with robbery, sexually motivated assault, burglary, predatory sexual assault and unlawful imprisonment.
