Multi-Car Crash on the Northbound New England Thruway

On 2/10/2019 Police investigate a multi-car crash on the northbound New
England Thruway near exit 11 Bartow Avenue. A 23-year-old man driving a white BMW coupe and a 31-year-old driving a gray BMW sedan sparked the crash around 7:10 p.m. as they street racing north on the Thruway near Bartow Ave. Medics took the 68-year-old Kia driver to Jacobi Medical center in critical
condition. Eight other people suffered minor injuries, and at least two of
them went to area hospitals, authorities said. Police arrested both BMW
drivers.
