Hakeem Jeffries, other incoming Democratic leaders condemn antisemitism, hatred against Jewish community
Incoming Democratic leaders, Hakeem Jeffries, Whip Katherine Clark and Pete Aguilar (D-CA) have condemned hatred launched against the Jewish community.
The leaders condemned the antisemitism against the Jews in a joint statement issued on Friday December 2, 2022.
“The promotion of antisemitism and hatred against the Jewish community by anyone is unacceptable and unconscionable,” the statement reads.
It adds that House Democrats are determined to reject intolerance in any form.
“The words, actions and baseless conspiracy theories viciously spewed by the individual formerly known as Kanye West are detestable, historically inaccurate and sickening,” the statement says.
The leaders claim that “Hitler represents pure evil and he must forever be castigated and banished to the dustbin of history.
“The Holocaust happened, six million Jews were murdered and it constituted an unthinkable crime against humanity.
We must all come together to end antisemitism and other forms of hatred, and promote greater tolerance and understanding in America.”
