Third Holiest Place In Islam
"Sahaba is in Arabic meaning disciple and that is to imply that Al-Sahaba Mosque was built by the disciples of Prophet Mohammed. And that makes the Mosque the first in Africa. It was built 1400 AD." Prophet Muhammad, PBUH, sent his daughter, her husband along with other Shahabaz as first Muslim refugees from the barbaric Arabian Peninsula. He told them the Christian King there is Just. The land is land of truth. Your safety there is assured. You will not be harmed there. Today, 12 Shahabaz or more are buried there and the Prophet himself did a Jannaza Prayer for the King upon his death, first in Islam.
