TWU local 100 endorses Assemblywoman Fernández for Senate District 34

TWU Local 100 has endorsed Assemblywoman Nathalia Fernández for Senate District 34.

Expressing her excitement, Fernández stated that with the support of TWU, the largest group representing dedicated transportation supervisors, her campaign now holds the support of a pivotal workers’ organization in the state.

“I am honored to receive the endorsement of the hard-working men and women that keep our transit systems running 24/7,” Fernández stated.

She added, “These workers are the lifeblood of our city and have been essential to keeping our city going throughout the pandemic.”

“TWU Local 100 has served as a powerful advocate for transportation supervisors in The Bronx and Westchester. In my campaign for state senate, I am fighting to ensure accessible and affordable public transportation throughout the district. I know that these workers are the key to making that a reality and I am proud to receive their support.”
