31-year-old Sh-Ward Bee wanted for fatal shooting inside Bronx deli
New York City detectives have launched a search for 31-year-old Sh-Ward Bee, believed to be responsible for the fatal shooting of 29-year-old Stefon Barnes inside a Bronx deli.
Bee, whose last-known address is in Mount Vernon, N.Y., is wanted in connection with the incident that occurred at the Gourmet Deli located at 851 East Tremont Ave. in West Farms, Bronx, during the early hours of March 31.
According to a report, the shooting unfolded at approximately 4:25 a.m. while Barnes, a resident of Frederick Douglass Boulevard in Harlem, was inside the deli.
Police responded to the scene to find Barnes suffering from a single gunshot wound to the right thigh.
Despite emergency medical services rushing him to St. Barnabas Hospital in critical condition, Barnes succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about the shooting or Bee’s whereabouts to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS. Callers may remain anonymous, and a reward may be available for credible information leading to Bee’s apprehension.
