Brutal assault in Bronx: Police hunt for suspect caught on camera
Authorities are actively searching for a suspect involved in a violent attack on the border of Bronx and Yonkers early Saturday morning.
The disturbing incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. on Viero Avenue, near East 235th Street in the Woodlawn neighborhood of the Bronx. Surveillance footage shows the suspect viciously grabbing a 26-year-old woman by the neck as she walked along the sidewalk.
Despite the traumatic ordeal, the victim declined medical attention at the scene.
As of Sunday night, no arrests have been made. Police are urging anyone with information about the attack to come forward to assist in the investigation.
The community remains on high alert as authorities work diligently to apprehend the perpetrator and ensure public safety.
